We are writing to let you know about 2 Transport surveys that are currently being carried out by the Chew Valley Area Forum Climate & Nature Emergency Working Group.

The first is for Students in Year 10, 11, 12 & 13 of Chew Valley School to establish how they currently travel to school and to see what buy-in there might be to various forms of low carbon transport for the Post-16 journey to school. This was launched on 19th April is open until 30th April.

Where individuals are not on the internet, they can phone Village Agent Anne-Katell Peton 07827526695 who will arrange for it to be completed over the phone.

Each survey should only take a few minutes to complete.

Please can you take 5 minutes to complete either or both of these surveys if they relevant to you. We are really keen to get a large response, so as to make a strong evidence-based case for change.

With WECA and B&NES working to meet the new government Bus Back Better planhttps://www.gov.uk/government/publications/bus-back-better , it has never been more important for the views of rural communities to be included.

The following document gives some context to the surveys, which you might also like to read.
