Chew Valley Arts Trail
Oct 14 – Oct 15 all-day

The Chew Valley Arts Trail is an annual, privately run, weekend event.  For the past fourteen years it has been a showcase for the creative abilities of people who live or work in the beautiful rural areas of Bath and North East Somerset, North Somerset and into the Mendips.

The trail is set between the  A38 and A37 main roads, not far from Bristol Airport and just a few miles south of Bristol. It encompasses the famous visitor areas of Chew Valley Lake (including the tearooms and fish restaurant) and Blagdon fishing lake, Barrow Tank Reservoirs and Stanton Drew Stones, it is also close to the World Heritage City of Bath, Cheddar and its Caves and the City of Wells. (Currently the site shows a snapshot and brochure of 2016 but this will be updated in August when applications are in for 2017.)

Part of the experience is for visitors to use the facilities of our local businesses, pubs, cafes and restaurants.  You may need to book lunch at some of the pubs as it will be a busy weekend. Some of our venues may also offer light refreshments. Please see individual villages for details of refreshments and importantly, whether or not venues have disabled access.

How to get around: Easiest by car and some parts on foot. By cycle – the valley is well used by walkers and cyclists. Cycle routes, including the Avon Cycle Way are signposted.
